The Highland Park ISD Board of Trustees consists of seven members, each of whom has been elected to serve a three-year term. School board members are entrusted with the responsibility of setting policy and promoting educational excellence for Highland Park ISD and receive no compensation. Elections are conducted annually in May. While candidates run for specific places, they do not represent specific geographical areas.
Ballot applications for two at-large positions of the Highland Park ISD Board of Trustees will be accepted by the Business Services Office between the dates of January 15 through February 14, 2020, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and on Friday, February 14, 2020, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The election held on May 2, 2020, will be held by Highland Park ISD for the purpose of electing Trustees to serve three-year terms for Places Six (6) and Seven (7).
